This morning, on my ritual sunrise walk, which starts out so that I leave

home well before the sun is scheduled to rise and I can get to a certain

point on the lake and witness the sun rising in all its glory and majesty.

It was so foggy, no one was witnessing the sun.

The world felt fluffy.

Speaker: 00:01:33

I was walking in cotton balls for a while and it was quieter than usual, as the

Speaker: 00:01:38

fog was muffling the sounds around me.

Speaker: 00:01:42

With nothing to look at, I was alone in my head with my thoughts.

As I'm doing my morning walk, I'm meditating in my head.

I'm repeating an affirmation.

When I'm not meditating or just enjoying the scenery, I'm listening to

This morning, I was just alone in my head, amused with the fact

that the conditions outside were mirroring the conditions in my head...

Foggy.

It reminded me of being lost.

When they say lost in your thoughts they weren't kidding.

The expression, " If you don't know where you're going, you won't get there!"...

Also came up for me.

And that's when the light came on in my brain.

What I needed was some clarity, a clear vision...

To remove all this fogginess and indecisiveness, and sit down and

create a new Visual Encore Plan...

a new vision board...

for this next part of my life.

A lot of change has happened in my life in the last year, which I've

Speaker: 00:03:24

been sharing with you, and it stands to reason that has changed me.

I've been evolving and I have been, I hope, growing in positive ways.

I feel different now and I am different than the ME a

Speaker: 00:03:41

year or five or 10 years ago.

Speaker: 00:03:44

And more importantly, I have a strong desire to be a different me in the future.

I want to be a better me.

Speaker: 00:03:54

I want to continue to grow and evolve in positive ways, so

Speaker: 00:03:59

that I can help more people...

and that I can Lift as I Climb along my journey, and have a greater

impact and live my legacy now.

Live my legacy while I am alive to impact it, and influence it, and enjoy it.

All of that was a reminder to me that I need to create a brand new vision and to

go through my own process, the Visual Encore Plan, create a new vision board...

Check back in on my values...

Cause they can change, as we change and grow.

What are my motivations?

What's my purpose?

What's the why that will keep me going...

Even when times are a little foggy.

Be very strategic with...

If that's the vision that I have, that I'm aspiring to...

Then how am I going to get there?

How do I become the person that I need to be to fulfill that vision?

I've been doing vision boards and versions of vision boards and visualization

Speaker: 00:05:37

techniques for more than 50 years.

I started as that single teen mom, with catalogs and magazines, when I didn't

Speaker: 00:05:46

have money to buy any of those things.

Speaker: 00:05:49

I was still marking those pages and cutting them out and dreaming of the day

Speaker: 00:05:55

that I would be making enough money to buy those things for my little family.

Speaker: 00:06:00

I continued to read about, and observe, other people that were

Speaker: 00:06:06

using vision boards and the visualization process successfully.

Speaker: 00:06:12

People like Oprah, like Matthew McConaughey; people that have

Speaker: 00:06:18

accomplished a great deal in their life and continue to...

Speaker: 00:06:22

Did so, because they purposely had a path and a vision that they were pursuing.

Over time, I also recognized that there was a synergy between

Speaker: 00:06:35

visualization, vision board creation, and in business strategic planning.

Speaker: 00:06:42

I didn't leave to chance where my company was going in the next year, and we

Speaker: 00:06:48

spent a lot of time putting together a carefully thought out plan for how we

Speaker: 00:06:56

were going to grow, who we were going to become, what were the resources that we

Speaker: 00:07:01

needed, and we followed that strategic plan along the way so we could go...

Speaker: 00:07:07

Check, check, check.

Speaker: 00:07:10

It was a great day for me when I realized that if you married

Speaker: 00:07:15

the two processes together...

Speaker: 00:07:18

personal visualization and visioning, with strategic planning...

Speaker: 00:07:24

That I learned in business...

I could create a Visual Encore Plan for my own life and for how

I wanted it to turn out and where I was going and who I would be.

That's the process that I created, and I used for myself...

Used with my staff, used with clients and friends...

And then the pandemic happened and like a lot of people, I realized that you

could have a greater reach and a greater impact by making good things accessible

to many people by putting that content online and offering it up to people

whenever they needed it, wherever they were, whatever time zone they were in...

I created the online version of the Visual Encore Plan.

That's what I'm going to sit down and use again for myself because I know it works!

I know it works, I have the proof many times over of when I created

that translation of my subconscious desires with the goals I had for
